Our chefs combine the very best of traditional Indian cuisine with modern influences. Our recipes contain only natural ingredients, fresh herbs and spices (free from any artificial additives, preservatives or food colouring) so you will experience authentic Indian food the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

Mixed Vegetable Pakora £3.95 The pakora served at 4550 Miles from Delhi are the real McCoy. Crisp nuggets of onions, vegetables and spices delicately coated in batter and deep fried. Best eaten when smothered in the accompanying side sauces.

Chicken Tikka Masala £7.45 Invented by the world famous – unknown – British curry house chef c1980 as a way of exploiting his already popular Chicken Tikka. We present our own exclusive recipe of succulent Chicken Tikka in smooth Masala.

Chicken Jalfrezi £7.95 Bite-sized pieces of chicken prepared in a spicy sauce of diced onions, diced capsicums and then garnished with julliens of ginger and a sprinkle of fresh coriander.

Lamb Rogan Josh £8.95 The classic lamb curry of Kashmir, braised in a concentrated broth and finished in a rich gravy of myriad spices that provide a host of subtle flavours.

Our Restaurant presents the legendary Dum Pukht Indian Cuisine, the food of myth and fable. This method of cooking originated in the food courts of the Moghul Emperors and represents the pinnacle of fine Indian dining. The preparation of Dum Pukht is so special that it is only passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth and its execution so demanding that only the finest of Indian chefs are able to master this artform. The emphasis is on quality, freshness and clarity of tastes and aromas.

Kaalimirch Methiwala Murgh £8.95 Tikka from chicken breast, grilled in the tandoor and then cooked in a peppery fenugreek masala.

Garlic Chilli King Prawns £12.95 This superb dish is from Cochin. King Prawns cooked in a hot curry sauce flavoured with crushed garlic and green chillies.

Lamb Mughlai £9.50 The Mughlai cuisine speciality of cubed lamb in a velvety ginger, garlic laced onion gravy, fragrant with mace, cardamon, saffron and cream.

Chooza Makhani £8.95 The perennial favourite of marinade and tandoor grilled tikka of chicken simmered in a satin smooth tomato gravy made with juices of the roasted meat and redolent of kasoori methi.

Goan Fish Curry £9.95 This dish is from the western coast of India. A spicy delicacy of fish cooked in a coconut-based smooth gravy.

Chicken Bemisaal £8.95 This dish is from princely cuisine of the Nawabs of Avadh, the most passionate patrons of gastronomy in golden age – Tikka culled from chicken supreme simmered in a smooth onion and garlic tomato puree – an evocation of cinnamon and clove. Aptly described by royal guest of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah is BEMISAAL meaning incomparable.

Indians are particularly fond of their vegetarian dishes. Every dinner table, royal or otherwise, should have a vegetarian delicacy that adds variety and gives a different slant to the food that you are enjoying. The Miles from Delhi chef has a vast range of produce to work with, hence our selection of vegetarian dishes is truly a spree of colours, aromas, textures and flavours.
